On the other hand, the Russian ambassador indicated that negotiations are still possible with the Kyiv regime, and that his country is ready at any time to search for solutions to the crisis, and that the two sides were close to discussing a settlement last April, but the Ukrainian president made negotiations legally impossible at a later time.

It is noteworthy that the head of the Ukrainian regime, Vladimir Zelensky, announced in late September his refusal to negotiate with Russia, following the accession of four former Ukrainian regions to Russia.
