Russian Ambassador to Britain Andrei Kelin announced that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu assured his counterparts in major countries that his country would not use nuclear weapons.
And the website of the Russia Today channel quoted Kelin as saying in a statement: "The Minister of Defense assured everyone that we will not use nuclear weapons."
Earlier today, Shoigu discussed, during a telephone conversation with his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh, the situation in Ukraine, and expressed his concerns about possible Ukrainian provocations using a "dirty nuclear bomb."
