According to a ministry statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the cumulative total number of deaths from cholera reached 47, distributed in Aleppo 40, Al-Hasakah 4, Deir Ezzor 2, and Damascus 1.
The Ministry called for the necessity to follow public health procedures represented in washing hands with soap and water for a period of no less than 30 seconds, withdrawing water from the source, and using covered and clean containers to transport and store it, and if the water is not safe, it must be made safe by boiling it for at least two minutes, as well as Wash hands with soap and water frequently, especially before handling or preparing food, before eating, after cleaning the child, before breastfeeding or feeding the child, and after using the toilet.
She also stressed the need to reheat food leftovers correctly, to kill bacteria before eating it and cover it to avoid flies and the transmission of diseases, in addition to the need to maintain the cleanliness and safety of water and sanitation facilities in schools, and not to drink water from the tap directly in the mouth, and not to exchange water bottles or cups between students. .
It also called on the ministry to follow its official platforms on the Internet and social networking sites.
