The state of New York will hold general elections this November 8 to elect a governor, in addition to senators, representatives to the House, will renew the state Congress and will vote for an environmental proposal.

What is chosen in these general elections?
On November 8, the state of New York will elect several public officials.
And one of the most important races is that of governor, which faces Governor Kathy Hochul, who is seeking her re-election, and Lee Zeldin, a Republican candidate, who, if elected, would be the first from that party in two decades.

The early voting period for the November general election is between October 29 and November 6, 2022.
