Haribeuh and Hashibo drug trafficking: the small dealer from Oise was in fact much more than that

This is the second part of the same drug trafficking case in the Clos-des-Roses district.

This Monday, at the Compiègne court, Abdeladim E., 21, was tried for the second time in a few months, the objective being for the judges to determine his exact role in the sale of various drugs, some being marketed in sachets branded Haribeuh, or Hashibo, using the codes of the famous candy brand.

Arrested on April 27 in an apartment used by dealers to package and store their goods, the young man, then considered a simple dealer having taken refuge there by chance, was sentenced on May 23 to six months in prison.

But Monday's hearing brought new elements, mainly thanks to the results of DNA samples taken during his arrest, the results of which were not known until the end of July.

His fingerprints on the scale, pouches, etc.

Suddenly, from a simple street dealer, Abdeladim E. rose to the next level.

His fingerprints were found everywhere: on a precision scale, on heroin canisters, wholesale and retail packaging sachets or even on a cannabis loaf that was to end up being cut into doses and sold in the famous Haribeuh pouches and Hashibo, supposed to be appealing to young customers.

The judges therefore finally sentenced him to one year in prison.

In total, the apartment contained 135 g of heroin, 10 g of cocaine and 750 g of cannabis.

"This DNA suggests that it was not just a simple building hall seller but that he had a real participation in this traffic, by being, in particular, in charge of logistics operations", thus affirmed this Monday Guillaume Théobald, public prosecutor.

Already convicted of drug trafficking, Abdeladim E. was released from prison at the start of 2022.

On the day of the events, police officers on patrol in the neighborhood observed a transaction between two individuals and decided to apprehend them.

Abdeladim E., who was not allowed to appear in Compiègne following his previous conviction, ran off, taking refuge in the famous apartment where he was apprehended, after the door was rammed down.

The police, who remained below, had had all the less difficulty in locating him as bags had quickly begun to fly through the window, containing drugs and Haribeuh sachets.

“I panicked because I had no right to be at the Clos, he justifies at the hearing.

And when I got back, they were everywhere.

If there's my DNA on all this, it's because I wanted to hide everything, throw it away so as not to be accused.

I was trapped.

"You don't have a little Pablo Escobar in front of you"

His ill-fated attempt to hide the evidence only made things worse in the end.

Especially since in his bag, two bundles of banknotes are discovered, accounting for 2580 euros.

“They were in the apartment too,” he maintains.

What the public prosecutor believes is above all that with a narcotics debt of 7,000 euros, contracted during the seizures that occurred at the time of his previous arrest, Abdeladim E. had no choice but to fall back in traffic, to at least repay its creditors.

The young man, who left his family home in Creil following a dispute with his father, has been wandering around since then, with no real means of meeting his needs.

“Yes, drugs are a scourge, but you do not have a little Pablo Escobar or a Tony Montana in front of you, observed his lawyer, Me Adel Farres, on Monday.

You just have a broken kid who needs help rebuilding.
