Beirut, SANA- The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health recorded 12 new cases of cholera during the twenty-four hours

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health recorded 12 new cases of cholera during the past 24 hours.

In a report published today, the ministry stated that the cumulative number of cholera infections in Lebanon has so far reached 448, while the cumulative number of deaths has stabilized at 18.

According to international figures, cholera annually infects between 1.3 million and 4 million people in the world, and kills between 21 thousand and 143 thousand people.
