The municipality of Allershausen has to deal with a power problem.
The municipality has to secure electricity for 2023 because the supply contracts are expiring and a new provider is not in sight.
Allershausen –
In order to achieve lower electricity prices, the municipalities regularly take part in so-called bundle tenders.
The tendering round "Electricity" carried out by the Kubus company for the delivery period 2023 to 2025 has now been completed.
And now the municipality of Allershausen has a problem.
Because for the lot "Bavaria green electricity with new system quota, public clients" commissioned by the municipality, there was only bidding for the street lighting area.
For all other areas (standard, heating current and power measurement), no bidder took part in the auction, as was explained to the municipal councils on Tuesday at the meeting.
So what to do, especially since the current supply contracts expire on December 31st?
The municipality must now independently seek a supply contract.
Because the Kubus company will offer a new bundled tender for the delivery period 2024 to 2026, in which the municipality of Allershausen can then participate, a separate delivery contract must be concluded at least for the year 2023.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
Nevertheless: Due to the urgency, the Bavarian Municipal Council considers a negotiation process without a competition to be conceivable.
Because the implementation of a procurement process characterized by deadlines would not be expedient in the current market situation, the security of supply must be guaranteed, so the reasoning.
For a procedure without a participation competition, several offers are now being obtained from the municipality for the delivery period of 2023.
Because it is to be expected that the incoming offers will only be valid for a short time and things are urgent anyway, the municipal council has authorized Mayor Martin Vaas to accept the cheapest offer.
The municipal council will then be informed of the work price.
