Ex-President Donald Trump is apparently angry about the first midterm results.

Ms. Melania also feels this – and has to serve as a scapegoat.

Florida – In the midterm elections in the USA, quite a few observers predicted a landslide victory for the Republicans in both chambers.

As of now, this has not happened – and Biden advisors are already talking about a “historic trend reversal”.

The situation apparently feels different in the camp of ex-President Donald Trump.

He seems to let his anger run wild.

US midterms remain a close race: Trump “besides himself”

Trump voted with his wife Melania in Palm Beach on Tuesday.

At a rather impromptu press conference - without microphones - Trump predicted a "great night" for Republicans.

The former US President apparently had little trouble appearing confident of victory.

And: Trump probably also wanted to build his own political future on a major Republican victory.

Recently he repeatedly hinted at a renewed candidacy for the presidency – he had even promised a “very big announcement” for November 15th.

But so far there has been no landslide victory.

Even on the day after the election, it is still unclear who will achieve the majority in the two chambers of Congress.

This fact apparently drives Trump insane.

CNN, citing a Trump aide, reports that the ex-president is "angry" and would "yell at everyone."

Trump furious over first midterm bankruptcy - he blames Melania

New York Times reporter Maggie Habermann reports something similar.

So Trump was "out of himself" in the morning, she reported via Twitter.

A particular thorn in his side was apparently the defeat of TV presenter and Republican Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania.

Democrat John Fetterman prevailed in the state in a very close race for the US Senate seat.

The Republicans had previously held the contested Senate seat.

Trump would attack anyone who advised him to support Oz, Habermann reported in the tweet.

Trump apparently also blames his wife Melania.

It was "not your best decision", he therefore rejected the responsibility.
