When the MTR explained the incident yesterday, it said that the first truck reel and the first bogie of the train involved deviated from the track, and metal equipment was also damaged beside the track.

After a preliminary investigation, it was found that the train collided with the metal structure next to the bottom, causing the train to deviate. A detailed investigation was conducted after the train was closed at night.

At about 10 o'clock last night, the train moved away from the platform and was transported to the Tsuen Wan Depot for inspection.

The MTR said that it attaches great importance to the incident and has launched an in-depth investigation into the incident. It has notified the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and the Transport Department. It is deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused to passengers.
