An elderly man and woman were attacked over the weekend in Givatayim after feeding stray cats.
Investigators from the Givatayim station began an investigation upon receiving a report on Friday evening about an attack on a husband and wife aged 81 and 75 respectively who were feeding cats.
The suspects, the 59-year-old man from Holon and the 51-year-old woman from Givatayim, were questioned yesterday (Sunday) at the police station for assault and wounding, at the end of which they were released under restrictive conditions.
The investigation continues.
