The 64 mandates won by the right-wing bloc in the last elections were supposed to easily form a government.
"Fully right-wing", Netanyahu promised time and time again, "we will talk right, do right, we will form a government with our natural partners".
so whats the problem?
Why hasn't a government been established?
We chose the driver, we chose the travel companions, so why waste the precious time and leave the State of Israel without transport?
This precious time, of course, invites a system of pressures from every direction, internal and international.
At this precious time, Abu Mazen is stirring and the Palestinian Authority is threatening an international blitz, warning of the dangerous Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gabir.
I saw an upside down world: the PA, which pays salaries to murderers and glorifies terrorists, dares to warn and threaten, when every such tweet on its part makes headlines in Israel and abroad.
At this time, the American administration and President Biden are dancing to the tune of the Palestinian Authority's flute and are operating a pressure press, and are unflinchingly interfering with the will of the people and our democracy.
They are trying to sell us that it's all ego, insanity and grandeur about the positions of ministers in the government.
Well, let me doubt it.
The bedrock of the dispute today with religious Zionism is essentially ideological, not personal.
Both religious Zionism and Likud were elected to realize right-wing policies, to realize a vision and a path.
For a year and a half we shouted that what was will not be, we shouted for reform in the judicial system, for the lawlessness and the necessary governance, for the young settlement, for the critical campaign for the lands in Judea and Samaria, for the sovereignty in the Negev and the plantings, and what not.
So now is the time to do.
And here is the place to say that the change that is required is not only from the last year and a half.
During the 12 years of Netanyahu's rule, holes were opened that must be closed, holes that undermine our national and personal security.
They were not born in the "change" government - where they only worsened.
They were born in 12 years of inattention in Vacha neglect on the part of Netanyahu in important key issues.
The campaign over the lands in Judea and Samaria is one of them.
This is not only a geographical arrangement, but also a security one.
For years, civil organizations and residents from Judea and Samaria have been crying out, warning and begging to stop the horror that is happening in the area.
The Palestinian Authority, with generous European funding, is consuming the open space in Judea and Samaria while building strangulation rings around the Jewish settlements.
All of this happened on Netanyahu's watch, and significantly worsened under Gantz in the Ministry of Defense.
This is essence, not cheesology.
Netanyahu is trying to pressure Smotrich to give up the Ministry of Finance or the Ministry of Defense, in exchange for regulating the young settlement.
It's a piece of candy, but with all the importance of the series - it's on the sidelines of the story.
The campaign for the lands in Judea and Samaria is the focus, and the security concept that is still rooted in the Oslo era is the focus.
Netanyahu wants peace until the end of Biden's term, i.e. two years.
Two years in which we will continue to support the Palestinian Authority while neglecting our important interests.
The problem is we don't have two years.
This government cannot under any circumstances abandon the war over the lands in Judea and Samaria, because we are on the brink of an abyss.
We don't have two years to wait, then there will be nothing to save.
And the most important thing is the public.
The mandate of Ben Gabir and Smotrich is to lead change.
Not in transportation and not in culture, but in internal security, security and settlement.
The right-wing public gave them a much wider mandate than before, placing them as the third largest party.
The public will not settle for Smotrich as Minister of Education, as happened with Naftali Bennett.
The public gave a mandate to the government to make the right, both through the Likud and through religious Zionism.
This is her mandate.
If this government legalizes in the long term all the damage done in the past - then we have done nothing, only damage.
