China again eases restrictions: it will not oblige citizens to use an application for epidemiological surveillance Israel today

This is another step by the government in an attempt to end the "Zero-Covid" policy, under which millions of people were put into lock-ups and mass tests were conducted due to the exposure of a single person

Against the background of the continued desire of the Chinese authorities to deal, on the one hand, with the increase in the cases of the corona virus infection and the displeasure among the citizens in view of the policy of immediate closures ("zero-Covid" countries), the government in Beijing announced today another removal of the strict restrictions.

Among other things, it was announced in China that the special application that citizens had to install in order to monitor their presence in corona-affected areas, and thus help in epidemiological investigation in the event of an outbreak, will be decommissioned.

However, the provincial and central government still have a series of other means to monitor citizens.

The last move actually entrusts the epidemiological monitoring to the locals.

Recently, the restrictions on transfer between provinces were lifted, and the obligation to enter isolation in a government facility in case of fear of exposure was also removed.

The mass tests are also almost non-existent.
