A fall into the sea occurred in Kennedy Town, Western District.
At about 5 o'clock in the morning, it was reported that a man revealed to his girlfriend that he was unhappy, and then jumped into the sea near the new seaside of Kennedy Town, near Catchick Street.
The girlfriend was shocked and reported to the police for help.
After receiving the report, the firefighters rushed to the scene and immediately rescued the man. Fortunately, he was conscious when he was rescued. The ambulancemen put a silver thermal blanket on him, and then boarded the ambulance and sent him to the hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the incident.
