The staff of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, confirmed today (Thursday) that classified documents were found in the President's home, after an inspection conducted by White House personnel at the President's private residence in the state of Delaware.
According to a statement released by staff, classified documents were found in two different locations at Biden's home in the city of Wilmington.
The documents that were labeled as classified were found in closed cabinets in the garage of Biden's home, near his car.
"My car was securely locked in the garage, okay? It's not like they put those documents on the street," Biden said in a conversation with reporters at the White House.
The documents have been in the hands of the president since his term as vice president and were moved to his home during the evacuation of the vice president's office in 2017.
Those who conducted the inspection were the president's people, this following the discovery of classified documents in Biden's office at the Biden-Penn Center in the state of Pennsylvania, an office that was used by the president before he announced his candidacy for office.
Since November, after the discovery of the classified documents in his former office, Biden aides have been looking for more classified materials elsewhere he used to provide details about the ongoing investigation.

The American right was outraged by the discovery and claimed that there was a double standard on the part of the US Department of Justice, which at the time ordered a raid on the home of the president of his country, Tahbari Talshabar, Donald Trump, in Florida, in order to find classified documents that were kept there.
It is worth noting that Trump refused the request to hand over such screens and his team claimed that he had no such documents.
On the other hand, it was Biden's team that discovered the existence of the classified documents and worked to locate and return additional documents.
