Armenian President Vahaken Khachaturian affirmed his country's solidarity and support for Syria following the violent earthquake that it was exposed to.
"I express my sincere condolences and solidarity with the friendly Syrian people, and I wish patience and solace to the families of the victims and a speedy recovery for the wounded," Khachaturian wrote, during his visit today to the Syrian embassy in the capital, Yerevan, in the condolence book.
During the meeting, the Armenian President and the Syrian Ambassador to Armenia, Dr. Nora Arissian, discussed means of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
