Family disputes between China and Hong Kong broke out in Kwai Chung.

At about 1:28 a.m. today (21st), the police received a report from a male resident of Fuyao Building in Liyao Village, saying that his wife and his young daughter attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the building.

Fortunately, the family caught them in time, and the mother and daughter were both safe and sound. They were sent to the hospital by ambulance for examination.

After investigation, the police believed that the incident was a family dispute and did not involve suicide, so the case was changed from "attempted suicide" to "dispute".

According to the news at the scene, the 40-year-old female victim in the case is a new immigrant, living in the above address with her older daughter, husband, uncle and grandma, a family of five.

After she came to Hong Kong from the mainland, she suspected that she could not adapt to the living environment. In addition, "it is difficult to meet each other, but it is difficult to live together", and she often argued with her family over trivial matters.

As of yesterday afternoon (20th), the victim and his family fought again; until the incident happened, he decided to take his daughter away, and dragged her husband in the "well"-shaped corridor, causing a panic from jumping off the building, and finally alerted the police to arrive at the scene.

As the victim resolutely left home, the police then contacted relevant departments to provide assistance.
