Jenna Malone, who played the character of Johanna Mason, wrote in a post on her Instagram that since the incident, she has learned how to regain her happiness and accomplishment • She also revealed why she did not name the attacker

The series of action films "The Hunger Games" are remembered as one of the biggest successes of Hollywood in the previous decade, and those that jump-started the careers of many of its participants, led by, of course, Jennifer Lawrence.

The person who left a less positive impression from the films is Jenna Malone, who played the character of Johanna Mason, the winner of District 7, in three of the films, who in a post she published yesterday (Wednesday) on her Instagram account, revealed that she was sexually assaulted on the set of the last film in the series.

• Hint: much younger - who's Madonna's new one?

• In a particularly revealing dress: what made the "White Lotus" star lose her temper?

• After suffering a brain aneurysm: Tom Sizemore's family is considering ending his life

The 38-year-old Malone shared a photo of herself from 2015, from the day after filming "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" ended.

She shared her experiences during the filming of the films, adding that that time was not easy for her - because she went through a difficult breakup and was sexually assaulted by someone she worked with.

"Despite this, I am grateful for this project, for the people I got closer to thanks to it and for the amazing role I played," she added.

The actress also wrote: "I worked very hard to heal and learn how to come to terms with the person who hurt me and to come to terms with myself. It was difficult to talk about 'The Hunger Games' and Johanna Mason without feeling the sharpness of that moment, but I am ready to move on and respond To myself the happiness and achievement I felt."

In a response to the post, Malone wrote that she chose not to name the attacker because of the "culture of cancellation" and because she "absolutely does not see how the justice system can assist in my recovery."
