tried to bring drugs to Spain in a beer poplar

After months of investigation, the four members of that illegal association were arrested.
Its ringleader was "Ojito", who has a long record for selling drugs in Rosario.
It all began in December 2022 when personnel from the National Customs Administration detected
a beer poplar
at the Ezeiza airport that was trying to be sent as a parcel to the city of Pamplona, Spain.
The suspicious package was examined in detail and "the personnel in charge were able to verify that the barrel had a

in which a kilo of cocaine was found," they reported in a statement.

"That was the

On Wednesday, March 8, members of the Division of Crimes Against Health and Personal Safety of the City Police were instructed to carry out searches in four homes in the City and in the Buenos Aires district of La Matanza, which allowed the arrest of those three people involved.
The investigation continued and it was found that the person who provided the drug to be sent to Spain was
a 34-year-old man from the city of Rosario
, Santa Fe.
According to his background, he had already been involved for several years (between 2009 and 2012) for the sale of drugs.
He was a fugitive for several years and was arrested in 2016 at the Buenos Aires City racetrack where he ran races under a false identity.
