A man was arrested on Tuesday evening for having fatally stabbed his 22-year-old daughter in Tours 14 times all over her body, we learned on Wednesday evening April 12 from a police source.
Despite the intervention of the emergency services and the police called by a neighbor, the young woman died on the spot, the same source said.
Aged 45, the father, a priori without a criminal record, was placed in police custody but hospitalized because of his mental state, it was added.
On Wednesday morning, the Tours prosecutor's office had confirmed the death of a woman and the placement in police custody of a person without specifying the sex.
