A person died hit by a TER between Brive-la-Gaillarde (Corrèze) and Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) on Thursday, which caused an interruption in traffic from 6.30 p.m., we learned from the gendarmerie and the SNCF.
The accident took place between the municipalities of Souillac and Gourdon, in the Lot.

The victim is a 72-year-old man, the gendarmerie told AFP, saying he was "
obviously a person who ended his life
".
Traffic was interrupted in both directions on the axis between Brive-la-Gaillarde and Montauban and travelers were taken care of by substitute buses, according to the SNCF.
The resumption of traffic is estimated at 9:30 p.m.
