The Court of Cassation confirmed the acquittal of the nurse from Piombino (Livorno), Fausta Bonino, for six cases of suspicious death in the ward out of the 10 total of which she was accused in the legal case.
And there will be a new appeal process in Florence for the four suspicious deaths on which the Supreme Court did not confirm the acquittal sentence of the Florence appeal court of January 22, 2022.
The deaths occurred between 2014 and 2015 among patients in the ward where the nurse worked.
Fausta Bonino was accused of having caused his death by injecting massive doses of heparin into the victims.
