The leading actor Hans Sigl has had enough with the wrong headlines and he comes forward with clear words.

The exciting life of the country doctor inspires millions of loyal fans with every episode and has made his actor one of the biggest stars of German television.
But what very few people know: the role as the son of Lisbeth Gruber is not Hans Sigl's first Bergdoktor appearance.
Because ten years before he slipped into the white doctor's coat, he was already seen as a taxi driver in the popular series that was still running on Sat.1 at the time and in which Gerhard Lippert, a completely different mountain doctor, was the focus.

Filming for the new "Der Bergdoktor" season is in full swing
What actually happened to Dr.
Martin Gruber in "Der Bergdoktor" remains to be seen.
Filming for the 17th season has been underway since April 24th.
The fans can look forward to eight new episodes, but ZDF has not yet revealed anything about the content and the cast.
