The duo, just born, won against the Doya sisters with a score of 64.2%, despite a fall.

This accident, linked to a bad synchronization of movements, only reinforced their symbiosis.

Prichia and Mea, kindred souls, confide in this evidence that is as artistic as it is human.

LE FIGARO.

- Tell us what happened after the Battle that saw the birth of your duo.

Mea.

-

Several questions arose, such as the name of our duo.

Our decision was to keep our artist names and assemble them in MeaPrichia.

We remain two independent artists who unite to form a third identity.

Besides, it sounded good.

Then we had to rehearse, work on the arrangements as well as our choreography until the Cross Battle.

How long did you work on your passage on

So we dance

by Stromae?

Prichia.

-

Between the Battles and the Cross Battles, we had two to three weeks but the Christmas holidays interrupted our rehearsals for five days because we don't live nearby.

I went to Portugal with my family and Mea in Lyon.

M. -

We worked remotely at first before meeting in Paris to rehearse for the last week.

What was the reaction of relatives to the creation of this duo?

M. -

My family loved it.

They found that beatboxing and dancing are two complementary arts and that our voices fit very well.

This turning point was a real lesson in humanity and benevolence.

Something sincere and true had happened.

P. -

My relatives were very happy because I told this story with a smile.

They experienced this through my words and seeing me continue the adventure with someone who looks like me was a beautiful message.

I think back to the authenticity of the very moment, everything was done without calculation, without ulterior motive.

During your Battle, how did your duo decide?

P. -

We were talking about it just before going on stage for our Battle.

We mutually felt this desire to form a duo but no one forced themselves.

It was above all a possibility and a question of feeling.

If we wanted to, we offered it on a set, otherwise neither would want the other.

M. -

We had to believe in our lucky stars!

“Prichia is a bit of the part of my soul that I was missing.

Mea confides in her relationship with her partner from “The Voice”

Tell us about your first meeting.

M. -

We met the day of our coaching with Zazie.

None of us felt the competition, we started to beatbox and dance together in the corridors of the dressing rooms.

Everyone thought we had known each other for ten years when we had just met.

How would you describe your relationship?

M. -

This kind of encounter is very rare.

I have rarely experienced such chemistry in such a short time.

Prichia is a bit of the part of the soul I was missing.

P. -

We are like kindred spirits.

From the start, we felt that it would be a very beautiful friendship but also an artistic fusion.

Our duo could go further, while making us experience magnificent things.

How was your first coaching with Zazie as a duo?

M. -

With Prichia, we sat in Bigflo and Oli's armchairs and Zazie automatically told us,

"There you go, the duo!"

".

We quickly debriefed and she was very happy because she had always dreamed of forming a duo.

“The Doyas even helped us find a group name”

Prichia and Mea recount their relationship with the Doya, their competitors during her Cross Battles.

What advice did she give you for this step?

P. -

Zazie often told us to channel our energy, to take the time, to repeat part by part.

M. -

Our great fault with Prichia is to be too much of a perfectionist.

So she advised us to let go and stop being so hard on ourselves.

How did you react when you learned that you were facing the Doya?

M.-

The Doyas were a revelation for us.

When our duo was formed, the sisters were extremely supportive with extremely strong and touching words.

They even helped us find a band name!

Just for that, we did not want to fall against them.

P. -

On top of that, they have a great chemistry.

Facing sisters, our connection was still fresh.

We would have preferred not to fall against them.

It was difficult to be opposed to each other.

We wanted to represent feminine and versatile duos together for a long time.

Tell us about your fall in the middle of your song.

P. -

I was supposed to shoot Mea but the distance was not good.

We had no other solution than to give up.

At that time, all I had was

"damn!"

, in the lead.

Then, you really had to act as if nothing had happened.

M. -

With hindsight, the scene was funny, I see Prichia on the ground and as I turn my leg, I see her already standing.

She didn't give up.

P. -

At that moment, our duo made sense.

We could count on each other.

After the fall, we had to improvise because I was late and Mea was out of breath with the dance.

We were able to catch up and secure our backs.

Did the coaches as public notice the fall?

M. -

Not at all, they thought it was part of the choreography.

Prichia's slide accompanied my movement!

P. -

Only Zazie suspected it when she saw me limping.

What was your reaction to your victory with 64.2% of the vote?

P. -

I was very surprised.

We had just crashed, my morale had taken a hit.

I remember thinking that we were going to leave “The Voice” because of that.

In addition, I found that the Doya had revealed themselves.

Was this victory reassuring or stressful for the future?

P.-

We didn't have the same opinion with Mea.

I was afraid that our duet could become repetitive and that it would be obvious.

M. -

For my part, I felt more relaxed.

We could also take new risks, such as simplicity for the next step.

What do you hope to show at the Super Cross Battles?

M. -

We would like to show another sensitivity, that of the singers by showing our vocal qualities.

If dance, beatbox and show are part of our identity, we wanted to tell the beautiful story of our duo in a softer way.

P. -

It's not because we are Swiss army knife artists that we have to send everything.

We can do something simpler and that's a message we wanted to convey.
