A 24-year-old man who had been shot in the head in March by criminals who tried to steal his motorcycle while he was working as a delivery service in

, died this Saturday while he was admitted to a hospital with brain death.
This is Jorge Matías López, who worked for the Pedidos Ya application and died during the early morning due to cardiorespiratory arrest at the Simply Evita Hospital in González Catán.
The prosecutor in the case, Gastón Bianchi, awaits an autopsy on López to determine the cause of death, while he works with the DDI investigators from La Matanza to capture the alleged murderers.

A criminal raid that ended with a fatal shot
The event took place on March 14 at 11:30 p.m., when police personnel arrived at Plaza 20 de Junio, located between Bollini and Albateiro streets in Virrey del Pino, where López was wounded with a shot to the head along with his
girlfriend
. .
According to the sources, the woman told the troops that, in that place, both had been victims of an assault carried out by two people who wanted to take a Motomel Skua 150 motorcycle from them.
According to the couple's account, López resisted and the assailants shot him in the head, and then fled
without being able to specify their initial objective

Due to the injury suffered, the 24-year-old was urgently transferred to the Simply Evita Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
For their part, the investigators established that a few minutes before the event, the same criminals
had participated in a shooting
300 meters from the scene.
In this circumstance, Elian Tobías Molina (22) was arrested, who was charged in a parallel case for the crime of "illicit investigation."
As for the assailants of López and his partner, the investigators assured that they have been identified and were being intensively sought by the authorities.
The prosecutor Gastón Bianchi, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 3 of La Matanza, intervenes in the investigation of the fact, although the case will go to the Thematic of Intentional Homicide.
