On Sunday morning, the government approved NIS 13.6 billion in coalition agreements, considered a record for years. As part of the political and budgetary agreements, hundreds of millions of additional shekels were approved for senior coalition officials.
Among the senior officials who benefited from the agreements were Finance Committee Chairman Moshe Gafni, Coalition Chairman Ofir Katz and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
As noted, Ohana received, among other things, "current grants" totaling NIS 1.780 million to local authorities, contrary to the other clauses – the document does not state the defined purpose of the money.
As you may recall, last night we published that in the most conservative, ultra-Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox government in recent years, coalition funds are quietly being transferred to the gay community.

The Finance Committee passed various coalition funds yesterday. Among other things, NIS 50 million is allocated to the Speaker of the Knesset. The money is allocated for various purposes, including a "gender diversity" money transfer clause – a comprehensive definition for gay organizations. In addition, the money for the gay community is requested by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
