A man died this Sunday morning in Bobigny, another hospitalized in absolute emergency, in obscure circumstances for the moment. It is nine o'clock when firefighters intervene rue de Paris in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis) for an accident on the public road. A 44-year-old man reportedly drove a car into a plane tree and was seriously injured.
"The driver of the vehicle would have been hit, and died," says the prosecutor's office of Bobigny without knowing if he was hit before or after the accident, the firefighters of Paris refusing to give the slightest detail on their intervention. According to a source close to the case, the deceased victim would have sought to escape a brawl, before hitting the tree, his attackers then took advantage of the situation to hit him. But this unfolding of the facts is not confirmed by the prosecutor who insists to the Parisian: "The circumstances of the tragedy still remain extremely unclear".
At the same time, another man apparently involved in the brawl was rushed to hospital. His prognosis is life-threatening. A third individual was also taken into custody.
"An investigation for murder and attempted murder has been opened," the prosecutor's office said. The Sub-Directorate of the Judicial Police (SDPJ) of 93 was seized.
