Wartenberger as a guest of Wartenbergers

Highlights: A delegation from Wartenberg in Hesse visited the Upper Bavarian namesakes. The group was welcomed with music in the town hall by Mayor Christian Pröbst. After a visit to the marquee, the group went to the Alte Schule. There, Olaf Dahlmann signed the Golden Book for the town's 50th anniversary. At the folk festival, a delegation from Wartenberg in Hesse visited the Upper Bavarian namesakes in Wartenberg.

Wartenberg – The twelve-member group was welcomed with music in the town hall by Mayor Christian Pröbst and 3rd Mayor Bernd Scheumaier. There, the mayor of Hesse, Olaf Dahlmann, signed the Golden Book.

Afterwards we went through the village, the group visited the Nikolaiberg and the Alte Schule. After a refreshment in Café Härtl, we went to the marquee in the evening.

When the Hessian community celebrated its 50th anniversary last August, the Upper Bavarian people of Wartenberg were guests. So now the return visit. In the days of Pröbst's predecessor Walter Rost, there were frequent mutual visits. "My colleague and I want to revive that," says Pröbst.
