The legislation to reduce the burden of reasonableness passed by the Knesset on Monday triggered huge protests across the country. Following the same legislation and in anticipation of the next laws in the legal reform, the protest organizations announced another demonstration to be held at the end of Tisha B'Av. The main focus of the protest will be at Kaplan Junction in Tel Aviv, where the demonstration will begin at 21:00. Prior to the demonstration, there will be a march from Rothschild Boulevard that will begin at 20:20.
In a statement distributed by the protest organizers, they wrote, among other things: "Yesterday's legislation, against the will of the overwhelming majority of the people of Israel, states one thing: the Israeli government passed clearly illegitimate legislation with a black flag flying over it – and therefore the government is becoming a manifestly illegitimate government.

"It is now clear that the government of the destruction of the Temple will continue to try to pass all the dictatorship laws: the Judicial Selection Committee, the Override Clause, the change in the electoral system, the new halachic state law, tearful laws to eliminate the free media, harm to women – everything. An illegitimate regime must not believe and must not engage in dialogue with it.
The announcement distributed by the protest organizers,
"Therefore, while the protests continue every Saturday night, we are now required to intensify the struggle. Use tools that have not yet been used, and acts of resistance reserved for an illegitimate government. Whether on the economic level or by disrupting public order and expanding demonstrations, and in any case without violence and in accordance with the law and High Court rulings.
