Shots were fired Tuesday night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) at the home of Tamra Mayor Dr. Suheil Diab. A motorcycle drove into his yard and fired at the front door. At the same time, the police opened an investigation into two shooting incidents in the city of um al-Fahm, during which two local residents were shot and seriously wounded.
Diab was evacuated for medical treatment in moderate condition. At the same time, the police received another report of shots fired at a house in which a local resident was injured. According to medical officials, a 56-year-old resident of the city was taken seriously to HaEmek Medical Center in Afula.
The police began searching for the perpetrators of the offense, along with forensic investigators collecting findings at the various scenes as part of the investigation into the incidents.
