The confrontation among the contenders for the Republican presidential nomination intensifies following Vivek Ramswami's interview with Israel Hayom.

Despite being attacked by former Vice President Mike Pence and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, Ramswami stuck to his position. According to him, Haley distorted his words - this is "another blatant and dishonest distortion of the neocons. I state explicitly that we will fully support Israel, including militarily, but we should not want American men and women to die in the war between Israel and Iran."

"If Pence, Haley, Christie and Robb feel differently, they should have the backbone to say how many Americans they would be willing to see die in this conflict. I'm waiting," Ramswami teased his critics on social media X.

Another flagrant & dishonest distortion by the neocons. Watch the actual video. Earlier, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who is running in the Republican presidential race, responded on Twitter to Ramswami's remarks that Washington should not prevent Iran's nuclear armament. Ramswami said that if elected president, the United States would not use U.S. military force against Iran.

"Ramswami must have missed the fact that Iran's fanatical terrorist regime regularly calls for 'death to America.' If he doesn't see a nuclear Iran as a threat to American security, then he should take his place alongside AOC and the Squad and not approach the White House," Haley tweeted.

"Vivek's hesitation to send a clear message of support for Israel will only strengthen the radical Islamic ayatollahs in Tehran as they continue to attack innocent American citizens and threaten to destroy Israel." "Peace comes through strength. America stands with Israel!" the former vice president concluded.
