According to the indictment, Katorzia lived in an apartment owned by his parents in Hadera, residents of France: his father Nissim (80) and mother (70) came to visit family in Israel at the end of July, and lived with the defendant in the apartment.

On August 27, 2023, the mother left the apartment to shop, while the defendant and the deceased were left alone in the apartment. The accused approached the deceased and, with the intention of killing him, grabbed him from behind by the neck and began to strangle him. The defendant got on the deceased's back with his knees and continued to strangle him hard - until the deceased stopped resisting and moving.

Later, the defendant went to the kitchen, took a knife out of one of the drawers and returned with it to the living room and began cutting the neck of the deceased. The defendant then sat down to eat bread and drink water, and later dragged the body of his deceased father to the porch of the house.

After the complainant returned home, the accused opened the door for her and took the shopping baskets from her. The mother entered the apartment, with her son following her. When she noticed blood stains in the living room, she asked the defendant what he had done and where the deceased was.

At this point, the accused attacked the complainant, grabbed her from behind by the neck and began to strangle her, intending to cause her death. The complainant tried to resist and free herself from the defendant's grasp, but he continued to strangle her. The mother cried out for help, tried to defend herself and free herself from her son's grasp.

A neighbor heard the mother's screams and noticed what was happening through the apartment door, and immediately called the police. At the same time, the defendant got up on top of the complainant, took a knife and returned towards the living room. Meanwhile, the complainant took advantage of the opportunity that the defendant moved away from her, got up and quickly left the apartment towards the building's elevator - but the defendant noticed this, pulled her back into the apartment and locked the door.

The defendant then put the knife to the mother's neck and began cutting it. While she was struggling with him, the defendant slammed his mother's head against the floor and continued to try to cut her neck. A few minutes later, the police and fire brigade arrived at the apartment, broke down the door and were exposed to the defendant with the knife in his hand, overpowered him and arrested him.

On the same day, the defendant was arrested and transferred to Sha'ar Menashe Hospital for detention under inpatient conditions, and remained in the ward handcuffed due to the danger to himself and those around him. During his hospitalization, he suddenly approached one of the patients in the ward, tightened his handcuffed hands on his neck and strangled him, with the intention of causing his death. A policeman who was in the department and saw what was happening approached the defendant and removed him from the complainant.
