A preliminary investigation revealed that the altercation began with an argument over the establishment of noise, when several boys who were under the influence of alcohol attacked the person who commented on the noise.
The police opened an investigation into the incident and soon arrested a number of youths involved in the act. The suspect in the stabbing, a 16-year-old resident of the city, was arrested and his detention has been extended from time to time.
