Representatives of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Camp Chairman Benny Gantz, Attorney Michael Rabillo and Attorney Ronen Aviani, are meeting Monday morning to discuss the establishment of an emergency government to manage the continuation of the war in Gaza. According to estimates, Gantz will not demand the drafting of a coalition agreement, but only agreement on conditions that will allow immediate participation in the conduct of the war, without division of roles.

Sources involved in the meeting are trying to explain the significant delay in the meeting and the formation of an emergency government by the fact that the prime minister is busy managing the event and his representative, Attorney Ravello, wanted to speak to him beforehand. The meeting was intended to formulate the outline of joint work.
Benny Gantz has no conditions for joining an emergency government other than a request that he have the ability to help and influence the security situation. Beyond a place in the cabinet, it appears that they will also ask for a place in a kind of "kitchenette," a small security consultation forum. We must form a unity government today and win the war together."
Religious Zionism Chairman Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also expressed support: "Unity and cohesion are the order of the day in order to defeat our enemies. Leave teams and leave negotiations. I call on Prime Minister Netanyahu and Benny Gantz to rise to the magnitude of the hour, meet immediately and agree on the establishment of an emergency national government that will unite the people, lift the spirit, give full backing to the IDF and bring about the complete elimination of Hamas and the terrorist organizations in Gaza."
Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David also called for unity: "I call on the prime minister and opposition leaders to establish a national emergency government, and one hour earlier. At this difficult time, when the people of Israel are at war, this is not the time to set conditions or withdraw time. These are some of the most painful and difficult days we have known as a country and as a society. The pain is unbearable, and this is the time for cohesive and united leadership. We will hurt, fight and win only together."
