The fighting that began last Saturday has led dozens of airlines to cancel flights to and from Israel. American Airlines announced Wednesday morning that it is canceling all its flights to Israel until December 4. This is a very unusual announcement, as the cancellation of flights for almost two months will affect tens of thousands of passengers who were supposed to fly with the airline, and will now try to find other solutions.
U.S. airline Delta also announced on Monday that it was canceling flights for a long time ahead, until Oct. 31. In this case, it is three weeks, and it too is expected to have an impact on many Israelis who were supposed to fly with it to the United States and back.

Other airlines such as Turkish, Pegasus, TAP and many other airlines have already announced that they have stopped their flights until further notice, significantly reducing the possibility of leaving and returning to Israel. Airlines that have already cancelled flights to and from Israel already include United, Lufthansa Group, ITA, EasyJet, Wizz Air, Ryanair and many more.
The only airline currently operating direct flights to the US is El Al, as is the case with Istanbul. Israir and Arkia also continue to fly continuously and even intensified. Several foreign airlines continue to fly to Israel, including Emirates, Fly Dubai, Virgin Atlantic, Etihad which returned today and other airlines.
