Comedian Daniel Ryan-Spaulding posted a video to his Instagram page on Wednesday morning, which went viral. Canadian Ryan-Spaulding, who has visited Israel in the past, filmed himself explaining to LGBT people who support Hamas and are convinced that the atrocities "also have a second side," that they were supposed to be Hamas' first target.

"It's a little ironic that the people defending Hamas online were probably the ones Hamas would have killed first," the gay comedian says in the video. We are freedom fighters, they are fighting for their country and we are fighting for the right to purple hair."
Ryan-Spaulding goes on to give a morality to all the people who think Hamas is right: "It's like a girl in a really toxic relationship – 'I know you don't like him because he kidnaps and murders people, but trust me, when I'm alone with him he's so sweet.' If your reaction to people being murdered, beheaded, raped and burned alive isn't total disgust and horror, if your response is 'yes, but try to see it from their perspective,' you should probably be crazy. I'm sure Jeffrey Dahmer had a difficult childhood, but that doesn't mean I empathize with him. If you want to liberate Palestine, liberate it from Hamas."
