Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday addressed the Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip and called for the lifting of the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. Bin Salman made the remarks during a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who arrived in Jeddah after a visit to Israel.
According to the Saudi Al-Arabiya network, bin Salman stressed to Blinken "the need to work to renew the peace process to ensure that the Palestinians achieve their rights." He also said that "the kingdom rejects harm to civilians or the shutdown of infrastructure in Gaza," and that "human international law, including lifting the siege on it, must be respected. The kingdom aspires for calm and an end to the escalation in Gaza.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said today that he met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and that their meeting was very productive.
Blinken landed in Riyadh over the weekend as part of U.S. diplomatic efforts against the backdrop of Israel's war against Hamas. According to Blinken, the meeting lasted less than an hour at bin Salman's private home.
"The Secretary of State emphasized that the United States is focused on stopping Hamas terrorist attacks and ensuring the release of all captives, and preventing the conflict from escalating," the State Department said in a statement. "Blinken and bin Salman emphasized their commitment to protecting civilians and promoting stability throughout the Middle East and beyond."
