In conversations with senior officials involved in the U.S. visa waiver process, they clarify that the exemption process continues as planned and there is currently no intention to change the decision of the Americans to grant visa exemptions to Israelis.
To the question of whether a delay is expected because of the war, the answers we received were that there is no expectation of a delay beyond the planned timeframe, which should range from 6-8 weeks from the moment the visa exemption was decided.

Once the visa exemption goes into effect, Israelis will be able to submit the ESTA form and after approval received within 72 hours of submission, it will be possible to enter the United States without a visa. Usually, the approval is received earlier, according to testimonies from European passport holders familiar with the process and have carried it out in recent years.
