Likud MK Eli Dellal also called on Sunday morning for the establishment of a state commission of inquiry to investigate the events that led to the Iron Sword War, after the end of the campaign.
"The citizens of Israel all stand behind the IDF and the security forces that work day and night," Dalal said. "The entire nation strengthens, appreciates and appreciates all the heads of the defense establishment without exception.
"The Israeli public has united and has been showing responsibility since the morning of October 7, and the leadership should join it. At the end of the war, a state commission of inquiry will be established, and no one will evade accountability."

Dellal's comments come after voices were heard that there was no need for a commission of inquiry. One of the most prominent voices is that of Channel 12 News Amnon Abramovich, who said: "In my opinion, this is unnecessary. It gives a livelihood to lawyers and leaks to journalists."
Dellal is not the first Likud member to call for a state commission of inquiry. Last week, Minister Akunis said that such a committee would be established after the war. Earlier today, Tali Gottlieb also wrote: "To all concerned. I am not a government member. But I will pressure the members of the government at the end of the war to establish a state commission of inquiry that cannot be avoided, not even members of the Shin Bet, the Military Intelligence Institute and the Air Force Command, and even I will appear before this committee. For the sake of the people of Israel, its resilience and its future."
