Friends star Matthew Perry, best remembered for his beloved character on "Chandler Bing," has passed away at the age of 54. The reports indicate that no drugs or hazardous substances were found in the apartment, and he was found in the hot tub of his apartment. About a year ago, Perry published a new autobiography called "Friends, Beloved and the Big and Terrible Thing," in which he revealed the story of his life and struggles.

In his book, he revealed that not long after he began his role as Chandler in the beloved Sticcom, he began to develop a severe addiction to alcohol. But this, he says, was only the beginning of a long and protracted struggle. "If you measure my weight from season to season (you'll see that) when I weigh more, it's because of the alcohol," Perry wrote in the book, "If I'm really thin, it's because of the pills. When I have a French beard, it's because there were a lot of bullets."
