In the middle of the fighting - clashes within the coalition: MK Limor Son Har-Melech (Otzma Yehudit) today strongly attacked Defense Minister Yoav Galant after he signed an administrative detention order against right-wing activist Ariel Danino, claiming that this was done for reasons of state security and/or public safety. "The defense minister is part of an entire conduct that does not distinguish between a lover and an enemy," Har-Melech wrote.

It seems that there are elements in the Jewish department of the Shin Bet who do not understand that we are at war against a cruel enemy in Judea and Samaria as well, and are directing a large part of their efforts to continue arresting Jews who cry out for this.

"In the middle of the night, Ariel Danino was arrested by Shin Bet interrogators, for no reason," the Knesset member tweeted. "It seems that there are elements in the Jewish department of the Shin Bet who do not understand that we are at war against a cruel enemy in Judea and Samaria as well, and are directing a large part of their efforts to continue arresting Jews who cry out for this.
"Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident, and the defense minister's move is part of a complete conduct that does not distinguish the enemy's lack of love. Ariel is the new, upright generation that does not feel the need to apologize for loving his people and his country, and I call on the defense minister to deal with the really important issues and release him immediately," she concluded.

This morning, Danino was interrogated by the Judea and Samaria District police and released to administrative detention in one of the security prisons. It should be noted that no indictment was filed against Danino.
The Twitter account of Danino, a resident of Givat Komi Uri in Yitzhar and an active and well-known figure on the Internet, was blocked a day after the war broke out.
