Judea and Samaria is furious with the security establishment, and especially at the Jewish department of the Shin Bet, because of what they see as an increase in activity against right-wing activists in the hills. Among other things, weapons given to residents in the hills were taken in order to preserve their lives, posing a danger to residents in the isolated hills.
The peak occurred yesterday (Sunday), when right-wing activist Ariel Danino was sent to administrative detention for four months. His friends said that he had recently been busy gathering information about Palestinian incitement on social media.
This morning, an anonymous security source in one of the media outlets published a statement that "settler violence is liable to harm the war."
Binyamin Council Chairman Israel Gantz responded to accusations by the heads of the defense establishment that they talk about settler violence and diversion of forces: "The people responsible for a failure unprecedented since the establishment of the state are trying to look for a scapegoat instead of conducting the war effectively. Lies won't help.

Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and other Knesset members attacked the decision to arrest Danino now. Ben-Gvir: "Administrative detention for pioneer citizens who stand at the forefront for the people and the country, and to be treated as an 'enemy,' is part of the concept that must stop. You have to differentiate between a lover and an enemy."
