Representatives of the families of the abductees who appeared in the Hamas propaganda video released on Monday are holding a press conference in which they respond for the first time to the involvement of their abducted family members. Participating in the press conference are Remus Aloni, Daniel Aloni's father who appears in the video, whose five other family members are abducted in Gaza, Avital Kirsht Buchtov, Rimon Kirscht's mother who appears in the video, and Esther Buchtov, whose son Yagev, Rimon's husband, is kidnapped in Gaza and whose condition is unknown. They were joined by representatives of the family of Yelena Tropanov, who is also held captive by Hamas and seen in the video.
"When I saw Daniel on TV. My heart almost stopped," said Remus Aloni. "We were relieved that she was alive and we see her because until now we didn't know any verified details. We really want her to come back and hug her and her sister Sharon. And the twins. And our son-in-law. Of our nuclear family of ten, only four remain."
"I ask and demand that the Red Cross not wait as a player on the lines, it must take the initiative and demand that a doctor come to the abductees. Both of my daughters take medication regularly and lack of medication can make them mentally and physically worse. Holding children, women, and people in general is a crime against humanity. I ask them not to leave us alone - and to the girls I want to say we love you, see you, think of you and we will bring you home."

Avital Kirsht, Rimon Buchtov's mother: "We want to tell Rimon, who is in captivity with her husband Yagev, we will do everything to bring you home. I don't wish on any mother to go through what I'm going through. I saw the movie and I'm worried, she was without glasses, that means she hasn't seen for 24 days. She must be given glasses and basic medical needs. I can't believe there's a single person in Qatar who thinks there's a civilian who should be sitting underground, these are crimes against humanity and these are unforgivable acts."
