The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security partner with institutions of higher education to identify hate speech on social media and provide federal resources to combat it. Dozens of cybersecurity experts at the Department of Homeland Security have been asked to deal with schools.

The Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights has accelerated the update of the complaint form. For the first time, it clarifies that Article Six of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits certain forms of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia. According to the Anti-Defamation League, since the massacre carried out by Hamas near Gaza, the number of antisemitic incidents in the United States has jumped by 388% compared to the same period last year.
