Jerusalem District police found a pistol, a flag of a terrorist organization, and a swastika symbol in a house in East Jerusalem.The suspect was arrested in recent days following threats against a man with the emblems of the State of Israel and the Border Police affixed to his car window

On the afternoon of 23.10, the police received a report of threats against an employee of a business in the city of Beit Shemesh, and police officers from the city's police station were called to the scene.

A preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the suspect, who also works at the scene, approached the victim's vehicle, and after noticing stickers of the emblem of the State of Israel and the Border Police on the window of the vehicle, allegedly began threatening him and damaging him and his property because of those stickers.

The suspect, a resident of a-Tur in East Jerusalem in his 30s, was detained by the police and taken for interrogation, at the end of which he was imprisoned. His detention was extended from time to time in court, until 31 October.

As part of the investigative activities carried out by the Jerusalem District police, additional findings were collected, which included, among other things, documentation of the suspect in possession of weapons.

Last night (Sunday), detectives from the Beit Shemesh station of the Jerusalem District, together with additional forces from the Special Patrol Unit and the Border Police, arrived at the suspect's home, where they searched with a court order.
During the search, the officers found a pistol and magazine, a flag affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, and an embroidered swastika.

A relative of the suspect was also arrested and taken for interrogation, and during the day he will be brought before the court.
