The Finance Committee began discussion on the new compensation outline on Monday. The outline is agreed, but opposition MKs have arguments on various issues, including again the issue of coalition funds.

MK Vladimir Belyak told the Finance Committee today that although the coalition funds have been stopped or frozen, he said they should not be stopped, but should be transferred to treatment for war damage. His remarks drew the ire of coalition members: "Enough, enough with this already," shouted MK Hanoch Milvetsky, "enough with this cheap politics."
Opposition representatives are also demanding a discussion on unnecessary government ministries. MK Orit Perek Hacohen said, "There are ministries such as heritage, settlement, the Jerusalem ministry and tradition, there are five officers of double deputies within the ministries."

Last night, the Finance Ministry published a new compensation outline for the self-employed and salaried employees harmed by the war. Among other things, it was decided to grant spouses of reservists, increase the payment for a reserve day to 125%, and bring forward the payment already to the end of October in order to facilitate the continuous economic management of the citizens.
