The suspect worked as a delivery collector in a chain of supermarkets in Jerusalem • During his work, the suspect placed notes showing a triple finger pointed at the national flag next to a swastika inside customer deliveries • The police asked to detain him until the end of the proceedings

An indictment was filed Tuesday against a suspect who prepared notes containing hatred, anti-Semitism and threats to Jewish customers and attached them to their homes. The suspect was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of attaching stickers with a swastika and a triple finger pointed at the national flag to deliveries that reached supermarket customers.

Last weekend, the police learned of the suspect, who works as a delivery collector in a chain of supermarkets in the industrial zone in southern Jerusalem, who deliberately attached an envelope with a swastika and a triple finger pointed at the Israeli flag. The shocked customers were shocked and frightened by the same note sent to them, and the incident was also published on social media.

Following the act, the police began investigative activities in order to locate the perpetrator. Earlier this week, in the morning hours, the suspect was located and arrested when he arrived at his workplace. The suspect, a 20-year-old resident of Shuafat R.C., was detained by the police and taken for interrogation at Moriah Station on suspicion of threatening offenses, behavior liable to violate public peace motivated by racism and hostility towards the public.

Moriah Station investigator in the Zion area, Sgt. Yigal Zemach, who managed the investigation file, noted: "This is an exceptional act that the defendant committed during the war and apparently after it. A grave and unequivocal act, an act that attests to his danger and hatred of the Jews and the State of Israel. As a resident of the State of Israel, he betrayed not only his employers who trusted him as a food and delivery collector and as a result decided to fire him, but also the entire State of Israel. Alongside the indictment, they filed a request to remand him in custody until the end of the proceedings and to bring him to justice."
