Rehovot police officers arrested a 40-year-old man in the city on Monday night on suspicion of raping a young woman in a park in the city.
Upon receiving the complaint from the young woman yesterday, Rehovot police station officers opened an investigation and at its conclusion, after using technological means, the suspect, a resident of the city in his forties, was arrested. At the end of his interrogation he was imprisoned and today will be brought to the Rishon LeZion Magistrate's Court for a hearing, where his detention is expected to be extended.
