The IDF on Wednesday morning allowed the publication of the names of nine additional fighters who fell in battle in Gaza. Seven of them were Givati fighters and two were fighters of the 77th Battalion.

Yesterday morning, during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip, terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at an armored military vehicle carrying Givati Brigade fighters. Seven fighters were killed and four wounded.

Names of fallen fighters

- Lieutenant Ariel Reich, 24, from Jerusalem, combat officer in the 77th Battalion, Golan Assault Formation. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Corporal Asif Luger, 21, from Yegor, a soldier in the 77th Battalion, Golan Assault Formation. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Sergeant Adi Danan, 20, from Yavne, squad commander in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Staff Sergeant Hillel Solomon, 20, from Dimona, soldier in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Staff Sergeant Erez Mishlovsky, 20, from Oranit, a soldier in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Staff Sergeant Adi Leon, 20, from Nili, a soldier in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Corporal Ido Ovadia, 19, from Tel Aviv, soldier in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Corporal Lior Siminowitz, 19, from Herzliya, soldier in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

- Staff Sergeant Roy Dawi, 20, from Jerusalem, squad commander in the Sabra Battalion, Givati Brigade. He fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
