Hundreds of people arrived at the Kfar Saba military cemetery on Sunday to accompany 19-year-old Sergeant Roni Eshel from Zur Yitzhak on her final journey. The funeral will leave at 15:00 and will be broadcast live on the Israel Hayom website and app.

Roni was an observer at the Nahal Oz base, and since Black Saturday her fate was unknown. Her family estimated that she had been abducted to Gaza, but last Thursday, after more than a month and with the help of special laboratory tests in Israel and abroad, it turned out that she had been killed in the terrorists' attack. She is survived by her parents, a sister and a brother.
