After the big explosion: IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari hinted at Thursday's daily briefing that Israel was not behind Tuesday's attack in Sana'a, Yemen's capital controlled by Houthi rebels.

"The Yemeni incident, the Houthi event, concerns the entire region, not just the State of Israel, the United States and other Arab countries in this region," Hagari said on Monday when asked to comment on reports linking Israel to the attack.

"With regard to attacks of one kind or another, I can relate to what has to do with the IDF, and therefore I will only address this matter, and I do not relate to what the IDF did not do. The regional attacks and regional actions – there are other regional players here, and it's good that they look at this region and see their interests fully. We are coordinating this with the United States and other countries in this region, and there are threats here that do not threaten only the State of Israel."

According to an Arab report yesterday, the site bombed in Sana'a served as a precision missile depot and a missile launching site. It can be concluded that these missiles were used by the Houthis to fire at southern Israel and the city of Eilat.
